How to recolor icons (Iconote color tool)
Every Iconote icon can be recolored right on its page before you download it, so it fits your design tone or brand color — on a site, a flyer or a stream overlay. Here are the basics.
Ink color and accent color
Each icon uses two main colors. The ink color is the outline and main strokes; the accent color is a single highlight. Change either with the color picker on the icon page and the preview updates in real time.
Recolor and download
- Open the icon's detail page
- Pick an ink color and accent color (a preset or any custom color)
- Toggle the background (transparent / light / dark) to check how it looks
- Download as SVG or PNG (512 / 1024)
Matching your brand
Set the ink color to your base brand color and the accent to a highlight, and a whole row of icons looks unified. When using several across a site or social feed, export them all with the same palette.
Matching the background
On dark stream screens or dark-theme sites, a lighter ink color improves visibility; on white documents, a darker ink stands out. Switch the background preview before downloading to check against your real use case.
The same steps apply to any category — amps & pedals, string instruments, DJ & club and more. For live-show materials, pair them with PA & live sound.
